How do I run an Antivirus Scan?

F-Secure Mobile Security performs scans dynamically.

As long as "App security" is enabled in your F-Secure Mobile Security app, each app you install will be automatically scanned for malware. If anything suspicious is found, you will be notified instantly. We will also automatically scan apps whenever there is an update. 

To make sure App security is enabled, please follow these steps:

1. Open the F-Secure Mobile Security app
2. Under "Security," choose "Turn on App security"
3. F-Secure Mobile Security will begin analyzing your apps and report any threats.

Note: If you don't see this option, App security may already be enabled. You can check using the following steps:

1. Open the F-Secure Mobile Security app
2. Tap the menu  button at the top left
3. Choose "Settings"
4. Ensure the box next to "App security" is checked

Note: The antivirus scan is device-based and cannot be run from your online F-Secure Mobile Security account.
